Yup, you're wrong....

Triumph's engines of that time were designed to be modular -- meaning they're all basically the same thing (although the new Rocket III is a radical departure from their "style"!), and if memory serves the original Daytona SuperIII was 855cc. Other than some problems we've had with cam chain tensioners wearing out on that period bike (you'll want to have it upgraded at the dealer), MO generally has looked favorably on the Triumph "cruisers." Don't know why they pulled that particular name, but the Bonnies and the America aren't all that different, so they do still offer a lot of "cruisers". They're kind of a mix between a standard and a traditional cruiser, we think. Anyway, parts for the Legend should be easy enough to come. --MO

This can spell disaster for the cool weather rider.
