  • Auphliam

Isn’t Victory supposed to have something there also?

    • denchung

Yes, plus more from other manufacturers.

  • Old MOron

LOL, it’s about 7 PM in Milan. All Kevin has for us in one measly Ducati?

    • denchung

Two less-than-measly Ducatis. More to come, plus Honda news coming up soon!

    • http://www.motorcycle.com/ Sean Alexander

EICMA starts tomorrow. The items for which which Kevin is reporting are private evening events in Milan taking place the night before the show. This stuff is very timely.

      • Old MOron

Oh, thanks for the info. I look forward to MO’s MOronic coverage.

  • Old MOron

Call me crazy. So far I like the CB500F and the little Scrambler best.

    • denchung
      • Old MOron

Thanks, Dennis. Maybe I’m an old guy who needs a big bike afterall!

      • Mahatma

That looks mesmerizing.Part of me thinks it’s just an oversized tansformer look-a-like,top heavy bike. And parts of me loves that brutish look. Those wheels may be part of the mesmerizing effect too…

    • Kenneth

The CB500F, to me, seems like the best looking Honda I’ve seen in years. LED lighting is a nice safety feature – night or day – especially for a bike in this price range.

  • Treeman

I hope the Honda Integra makes it to the U.S., or at least a new Honda Maxi Scooter over 500cc.

  • Eddy Lee

    That naked r1!!!!!

    • Old MOron

Hey Eddy, you a Rush fan? Did you ever think of putting a G in front of your name?

  • Mahatma

Was there any news on that Honda Bulldog bike?

    • Old MOron

Excellent memory, Fast Mahatma! I’d forgotten about that bike, but now I remember hoping that Honda would build it.

      • Mahatma

If my financial situation is good when (if) it comes out,and it goes like a honda-reliable and does everything asked of it in a civilized manner,I’ll buy it.Love the looks of it-apart from that odd blue colour, but if that’s the only one,I’ll be able to look past that.Glad to know I’m not the only one.Perhaps it’ll be made then:)

  • Old MOron

Let’s see. It’s 08:30 in SoCal. I believe that makes it 17:30 in Milan. Wow, how nice that Duke gets a head start, and when I check MO in the morning, it’s like Xmas! The Bimotas, the new Brutale, BMW’s Scrambler, and… the return of the SV650! How am I supposed to stay out of the market this year?!

  • Old MOron

Aw crap, many of these bikes have the same effect on me: I want them. I’m really digging the MT-10, the V9 models, and the Vitpilen 701. I recently tested the R1000R and thought that would be my next bike, eventually, but these new bikes are so cool. God help me if the MV’s are affordable.

  • Old MOron

Hey Duke, if you really want to drive your SoCal readers crazy, find which of these bikes are going to be in Long Beach this weekend.

  • Asgard928

    Where’s the new Victory Octane?

    • Auphliam

Aye, Polaris/Victory have been eerily quiet. Not even a teaser pic or mention on their website. I am seriously hoping they don’t flop on this event.

    • John

According to victory’s website they are going to release a production announcement of the concept bike on 12/11. Maybe that is the octane?

  • ducatirdr

I’ve been a street rider since the late 70’s. I don’t think I have ever seen a year of new releases like this year. Is this the New Golden Age of Motorcycling? I think so!

    • Old MOron

Yes, except for U.S. manufacturers. Same tired old stuff. What a disappointment Victory’s 156 concept is!

  • Mark Vizcarra

    Where’s the girls?

  • Larry

A lot of cool bikes here, but for some odd reason I’m digging the Honda adv scooter the most. I grew up thrashing little scooters by doing a laundry list of idiotic things on them. I would really love the opportunity to do idiotic things on that as well.

  • John

FYI the TMAX lux max link takes you to the MT-10 page.

    • denchung

      Oops! Thanks!

  • Old MOron

Just got an email from Ducati. All of their EICMA bikes will be in Long Beach. Cool.

  • Sean

When is Honda going to offer cornering ABS like KTM and BMW?

  • Mahatma

I want news of this bike!
