Touring Motorcycles
Touring motorcycles include the BMW K1600GTL, Honda Gold Wing, Victory Cross Roads, Harley-Davidson FLTRU Road Glide Ultra and Yamaha Star Stratoliner.
As the name implies, touring motorcycles are designed to gobble up highway miles while keeping the rider in relative comfort. The biggest touring bikes feature robust engines and dozens of comfort and convenience amenities. Common features include large fairings and windshields for excellent protection from the elements, large-capacity fuel tanks for long ranges between fill-ups, and a considerable amount of stowage space for the luggage of a rider (and often) a passenger. If you want to cross the country in style without sacrificing comfort and on two wheels, chances are you’ll be looking to buy a touring motorcycle.
