Update

Have approx. 500 mi. on my C50 now. "F1" light has not come back on and it has been running fine. Put a Baron custom engine guard and a set of custom fit Saddlemen Drifter bags. I used Edge brackets to mount the bags, they work great! The stock seat is ok but I plan on upgrading to a be...tter seat next year. The more I ride this bike, the more I like it. Read Full Review

I purchased a 2009 C50 a couple of weeks ago with only 10,750 miles. I got a great price, since I bought it at a Harley shop. I bought this on a recommedation of my friend that has a 2006 C50T with 50,000 miles on it. Read Full Review

Nice Cruiser

After three years

I picked up my C50 during the 2010 sell-off of 2009 models for around $5800. What a bargain, and I love it. I took it from PA to CA two years ago, and it did fine, highways and back roads. I am 5'4", but I had no problem in cities, at stops, and backing up. First time in 45 years of motorcy...cling that this was the case. The bike is slightly underpowered, and gets only about 44 mpg, but it is built like a rock and takes a beating without complaint. Read Full Review

Great choice for a first motorcycle.

I started riding at 49 and was in the market for a cruiser that was in my budget. I found a 2 year old C50 with 600 miles on it that was priced well below NADA so I took a chance. Though I initially didn't know what features I should be looking for in a cruiser I was lucky and pleased in the choi...ce I made. I have been very pleased with every aspect of the bike to include handling, braking, and style.

The front in power is good but fades after hitting 5th gear by 40 MPH and forget about passing someone; however, the motorcycle cruises along well at 70+ MPH. I recently replaced the tires and have had to be careful about locking it up if braking at moderate speeds; otherwise no breaking problems.

The C50 handles very well with tight maneuvering with S curves, circles and the box; I recently made several trips over US421 (Tennesse-North Carolina mountain road nick named "the snake") and it handled very well with S curves, turn backs, turnbacks with 40+ degree sharp inclines and was very pleased with the maneuvering as I was scraping my floorboards numerous times; the power on this stretch of road was a bit lacking but this was a demand route that most other bikes may struggle as well.

I have made many modifications to include adding a light bar with aux lights, windshield with lowers, mustang solo seat with backrest and rear fender bib, Viking saddlebags with easy brackets; all modifications were easy to make and were performed at home.

I have had the motorcycle for less than 2 years and have rolled up 12,000 miles with absolutely no mechanical problems and have never worried about venturing off into the unknown. The motorcycle averages 45 MPG.

In summary, I have been very pleased with the C50 and would strongly encourage other prospective riders to consider this motorcycle. Read Full Review
