Great Bike, Fun to Mod!

Just an awesome bike. Don't let the engine size fool you. One of the fastest bikes up to 1500cc's. LIGHT and high tech engine with tons of torque are the trick. I modded my seat with gel and memory foam and is now COMFY. Also changed the final drive so that it cruises comfortable at 70 mph. (VS1...400 modded drive and shaft =14% rpm reduction)

Best out there for the money...

I purchased mine in May of 2009 sense then you can't get me off this bike.

I have traveled with the big 1500+ cc bikes and had no problems keeping up with them. I have put 6100 miles on my c50 in the few months I have had it with no problems. Like others have said

don't let the 800cc's fool you a...s there is plenty of power, I am 300 LBS and my Girlfriend is 200 LBS plus I have installed every accessory saddle bags,
windshield, driving lights, rear rack,
sissy bar, sissy bar bag, windshield bag etc. One big draw back for my girlfriend was the placement of the passanger foot pegs, simply resolved by replaceing them with the billet floor boards as they lower the position by 1 inch and bring them forward by at least 2 inches. Good machine, has limits

I've got 2000 miles on my C 50T. Both transmission & engine greatly improved after 1000 miles. Averaging 45 mpg plus, 40 mpg hwy. @ 70mph. It's a great commuter type bike incl. maybe 200 mile max weekend trips. Easily handles two up, except... pass. footpegs are hard to access as they're s...nuggled in right in front of the saddlebags. The saddlebags aren't waterproof by the way.
Noticeable vibration at anything approaching 65 & up, new grips help though. Brakes, well, they do stop you, eventually. You can't lock them up, that's for sure. Great bike for secondary roads, less so for the hwy. I'm going crosscountry this fall and I'm already shopping for a machine with longer legs and better brakes. Love the Suzuki C50 - smooth

I just got a new 2009 Suzuki C50 and I love it. I chose it for the shaft drive, the fuel injection, it has a big gas tank, and because it is liquid cooled. No other bike in its class has these three things together. The price is fabulous and negotiable. I am a woman rider and this is my first real ...bike. I have been riding less than a year. It is easy to handle in the windy hills in my neighborhood, but takes off on the highway. If you buy this bike, you will be glad you did. Read Full Review

Can"t wait!

I just bought a 2009 leftover C50. Everything I have read about this bike is great. I am moving up after 10years of riding a 1988 Kawasaki 454 (which was a great bike to learn on). After trying out a 2005 C50 in the parking lot

I knew it was time. I was torn between the Kawasaki 900 custom/clas...sic and the C50, but they were so close in all the reviews it was a hard choice. In the end I chose the C50 because it was more comfortable for me. I can't wait to pick it up! Read Full Review
