The official introduction of the team takes place in Valencia, Spain on the 1st of november 2002 on the occasion of the last Grand Prix of the previous season.

The KTM Red Bull GP 125cc Team will be managed by Harald Bartol, who stands in todays forefront of the most successful constructors in street racing. His area of accountability covers not only the technical headship but the strategic and conceptual preparation of the planned access in the Moto GP class 2005.

Roberto Locatelli (World Champion 2000, 125cc class) roars back from the 250cc class and together with an yet unconfirmed second pilot will personate the KTM Red Bull Team.

The reinforced engagement of KTM in street racing is to be associated with the intended enlargement (extension) of the product range in the street segment.

KTM deepens it´s acitivities in the Offroad segment as well in Europe as in the United States. Last but not least the obligation of US superstar Jeremy McGrath* for the upcoming Supercross season is to be mentioned.

* = I don't really follow the dirt stuff, so I have no clue what this "obligation" is.
