Yes, BMW's are a bit overpriced compared to the competition from the orient. However, BMW knows what it is doing. The G650GS is a great bike for first time riders and experienced riders alike. This bike is a terrific daily commuter; reasonably light, narrow, bullet-proof engine, good fuel mileage for size, low center of gravity, ABS and heated grips. Excellent for women riders b/c of low seat height and short reach to grips.
