    This bike is a terrific daily commuter; reasonably light, narrow, bullet-proof engine, good fuel mileage for size, low center of gravity, ABS and heated grips. Excellent for women riders b/c of low seat height and short reach to grips.

    It will cruise at 70 on the highway, but gets a little buzzy at speed. More than adequate power and acceleration, but this is not its forte.

    Overall, I am very pleased and don't think I could have done any better for the money-- took advantage of a 1.9% financing incentive from BMW

    Yes, BMW's are a bit overpriced compared to the competition from the orient. However, BMW knows what it is doing. The G650GS is a great bike for first time riders and experienced riders alike.
