2010 RG
By (I am an Owner) on Aug 09, 2010I traded in my 2003 RG for a new 2010 RG back in 2009, The difference is night and day. With the new frame/wider rear tire, the bike is rock solid in corners. Suspensions seems harsher. It rides firm on the straight but any dip/hole, the shock reacts very harshly to it, esp 2 up. The bike is ... supposed to have a lower back end but I am having trouble with the back height (i stand 5'7" and have short legs). The stock seat sits you low enough but is good for 50-100 miles. Typical of a stock seat from Harley. Considering the price we pay, this is pretty unforgiveable. A friend loaned me a Sundowner and that is good for 100-150 miles. I do not buy aftermarket HD as their price vs improvement over stock is NOT worth the money. Have ordered a retro Mustang seat which will be arriving this week.

2010 Road Glide
By (I am an Owner) on Mar 17, 2010So...Six weeks and 1,400 miles into a 2010 Roadie, and here's what I can tell you...Looks awesome; BIG improvement over previous years...Little details like the fillers between the bags and the rear fender, the LED's on the stretched rear fender, the "slammed rear end and the bigger front wheel...Great ... look...The chopped windshield? Cool looking but useless if you're over 5'5"...I'm 6'5", so pretty friggin' useless...Now the ride...Trans is great...SMOOOOOTHE 6th gear,, though 1st gear is a little tall--could have a little more "grunt" down low, handling great (but have HD eval the steering neck bearings as the adjustment method is different for '09-'10, and should probably be eval'd when you take possession just to be sure), you definitely notice the shorter rear suspension travel with a bigger load on bumpy surfaces...Gave it 4 out of five on "VALUE" 'cause let's face it, is it really WORTH over $20K loaded up? Not that stops someone who WANTS a Harley from forkin' over the green...That's about it...I'm absolutely lovin' it!!!
