Valentino Rossi could complete the remarkable feat of riding the equivalent of a lap around the world this weekend at Jerez. Of all the things the nine-time MotoGP champion has accomplished over the years, riding around the world on a MotoGP bike is definitely unique (and surely painful at times!). Okay, folks. Time for the answer. A somewhat surprising amount of you (27%) voted for Misano 1993. While a good guess, this was Rossi's first race in the Italian championship. In fact, VR46 made his 125cc debut in the world championship at Malaysia, in 1996. So if you're one of the 14% of voters who picked Shah Alam 1996 – you're right! Rossi earned his first victory in the 125cc class at Brno later that year.
