A recent review of Kawasaki's 900 Custom complained that the narrowness of the front tire reduces its braking power. My understanding (or misunderstanding) is that stopping power should be the same whether the amount of road/tire resistance is 100 pounds spread over one inch (100 lb/sq inch) or over 2 inches (50 lbs/sq inch). Please clarify. Thank you.
