KTM has released a new behind-the-scenes video exploring the development of its latest flagship naked bike, the 2024 1390 Super Duke R. Titled "Birth of the Beast 4.0", the video takes us into KTM's headquarters in Mattighofen, Austria, to hear from the engineers behind the project.

The video also takes us to Spain's Almeira Circuit, where we hear from Jeremy McWilliams, former MotoGP racer and a KTM test rider who has helped develop multiple generations of Super Dukes. We do kind of wish they showed the anti-wheelie mode pillion testing discussed in the video, but we're just going to assume KTM's lawyers put the kibosh on that.

Setting a New Benchmark in the Hyper Naked Category

KTM really seemed set pushing the envelope with the 2024 KTM 1390 Super Duke R. Our own Troy Siahaan just got back from Spain where he got the chance to test the 1390 and talk to McWilliams himself (and do his own anti-wheelie testing...)

We'll have Troy's full review coming up soon. Until then, check out KTM's video.
