Ducati North America reported its ninth consecutive quarter of growth with a 24% increase in retail sales for the three months ended Sept. 30, 2012.

Specific numbers were not released, though we may hear more details when Ducati‘s worldwide quarterly results are released. Ducati did say September was a particularly strong month, reporting a 40% increase on sales compared to 2011’s figures.

“We have paid very close attention to the desires of our customers in North America and believe that we have successfully developed the most appealing product offering in the brand’s history,” says Cristiano Silei, chief executive officer of Ducati North America. “With this consistent, positive momentum in retail sales, we are confident that 2012 will finish as a record year for Ducati. And, we look forward to a great start for 2013, with the recent announcement of several new models.”

Ducati credits strong demand for the 1199 Panigale as well as the Diavel. Ducati claims a 66% year-on-year increase in sales for the sports cruiser over the third quarter.
