From the grid iron to grease monkey
Josh Elizondo is six-foot-two and weights in at 270 lbs. These simple stats help to explain why he is a top college football prospect of Naples, Florida. Elizondo is a talented defensive lineman but has become tired of the favoritism and drama that comes along with Naples football. He has therefore decided to give it all up so he can enroll at the Motorcycle Mechanics Institute (MMI) in Orlando, Florida.
The MMI, a division of the Universal Technical Institute, is a well respected institute which has gained notoriety for its thorough hands-on programs but particularly for the partnerships it has with OEM manufacturers.
Typically, success playing college football means a chance at the NFL and the opportunity to make mucho dineros. Just because you’re a top college prospect is no guarantee to the NFL, but it is however a great opportunity to get a free education. Being a motorcycle mechanic is a very honorable vocation, but so too is following a career where ones true passion resides. So who are we to judge?
Best of luck Josh!
