Yamaha SR400 Awesomeness!!!
By (I am an Owner) on Jun 09, 2016Owning a piece of the past, the chrome, the liquid graphite paint, a small standard bike that gets up and goes. The SR400 appeals to women, classic motorcycle enthusiasts and to men who have a lot of self confidence and want a smaller bike that zips around town and on short highway jaunts. It also ... appeals to people who don't mind the act of kick starting. Sometimes I look at bigger bikes and think "that would be cool," then reality sets in and I'm asking myself "where would I store it and what am I going to do with all those extra cc's? The SR400 is also for people who are willing to overlook the cost comparison process with other bikes because it just won't add up in any other way other than "I love it and it's worth it TO ME!!!"

Swet fun
By (I am an Owner) on Sep 04, 2015You have to understand that this bike is near straight out of the 70's. If you remember that, then this bike is actually quite fun, especially on small roads, and in town. Two kicks in the morning, and a single kick throughout the rest of the day is all you need. I generally turn the key, let the ... fuel injections do its little whine while I put my helmet, gloves, sweater, and glasses on. The fastest I have taken it, is 85, and then I slowed down, as she was somewhat wobbly on those skinny tires. 45 to 65mph, and the vibrations are unnoticeable at worst. Any faster, and you will feel it. Overall quality is fantastic They did nit skimp on anything!
