Simply Stunning
By (I am an Owner) on Nov 15, 2010If you're thinking about getting this bike...stop thinking and just do it. Don't even bother with the base model, the Triple R gives you better brakes, fully adjustable suspension, better tires, and a nicer seat for less than $1000 price difference (you'd pay close to $1000 to upgrade the suspension ... alone on the base model). I have the Matte Blazing Orange and it looks absolutely stunning. If you can get a leftover 2010 model, don't wait do it now, you won't regret it. The Triple R feels much better than the Ducati Monsters, has an amazing motor with a powerband tuned for perfect street riding. The torque curve is so flat and steady that you can roll on the throttle in any gear and get immediate response and amazing acceleration...hold on or you'll be taken by suprise. I can hardley keep myself from taking it easy on the break in period, this bike is that much fun to ride. The fit and finish is absolutely superb.
Triumph has bikes with amazing character that will turn heads more than anything coming out of Japan. Don't get me wrong, the Japanese make incredible bikes, but if you want something with the same build quality AND a character, look, and feel that can't be matched, you have to go with Triumph. This is the perfect street bike...it has all the power of the race replica Daytona with the practicality of everyday riding.
