Great!

This is my first Bike (after spending a few months on a "starter" bike). I took weeks doing research and riding different bikes. The America was the clear winner. I still go by motorcycle shops and peek in the window, only to shake my head and realize I got the best choice.



Triumph d...id not try to push the cc's up just because everyone else is. Still, the bike has plenty of power, and if you don't think so, there are lots of after-market power upgrades. It's not a sportsbike, but an around-town cruiser, so don't expect a power hound. That said, the America will put you back in your seat in all but 5th. Negotiating traffic is easy.

The America is very responsive, and turns with just a thought. I feel solid on the road, even thought this is not a "full size" bike.

While getting around town is easy, it's just big enough for some weekend trips. Since I am actually realistic about my riding habits, that's a good compromise, and I get fuel economy thrown in. And, with a 5 gallon tank, don't plan on spending too much time at the gas station (something I found I did NOT like when I started riding).

The America has the most unique look of anything out right now, and in my opinion the best.

This bike is also quiet and smooth. Not everybody wants that, but my neighbors appreciate the quiet and my butt appreciates the smoothness. If you want a noisy bike, well, after-market pipes can take care of that, too.

Sputters along

I love this Bike. I did a lot of research before buying it. I think it looks great and handles well. I do have a complaint, it surges when running at speeds of 30 - 40 mph (which is most of my City driving). The dealer can't seem to fix it. I read on the Triumph forum lots of people have this pr...oblem. Triumph needs to address this. Read Full Review

It does what it says on the box

I have been riding bikes for the best part of 40 years. I have riden professionally for a spell and just about every type of bike on the road and off. I have the pleasure of owning a 2010 Triumph America which I bought new. It is a great bike drawing admiring looks wherever I go, it handles well for... a cruiser and with the aftermarket exhausts it really sound the bizz. I would recomend this bike to anyone of any level. Additionally, if you want to travel any distance, you can get about 200miles to a tank of fuel. What more can I say but enjoy and safe riding. utter dissappointment

I rode a Triumph Sprint RS for 3 years and after it was stolen, I looked for a replacment and transition to the cruisers. The Bonneville America Looks nice, and thats about it. The bike is Very thin, nothing to wrap your legs on. Power in Non-Existant. I was so dissappointed I cut my test ride s...hort. I'm now looking to buy the #5 Bike, Yamaha Raider or Victory Vegas.

I would only recommend this bike to new riders or those who like a slow, quiet trip down main street and back. Read Full Review
