  • 2008 Yamaha VStar 650 Silvetafo
By  (I am an Owner) on Sep 01, 2020

I purchased the motorcycle used from its second owner. It only had 1334 miles on it because the first owner had it for 8 years and only drove it a couple miles a day during the summer months, and the 2nd owner put the majority of the miles on it just riding it back and forth to his local town, hence ...

  • Great bike, needs 6th gear though
By  (I am an Owner) on Jun 28, 2012

The new floorboards look better and make a 100% better ride. The gear ratio's are made for town driving. They are close and the top speed ...

  • A Great Bike
By  (I am an Owner) on Oct 31, 2008

I bought this bike in August and have since put 2,ooo plus miles on it. It is a great around town bike. Has some zip to it. It sounds good and is very comfortable. I have not gotten the 49 mpg that Yamaha claims. I average around 39 in town and 40 fully loaded on the highway. I didn't give it full ...
