2008 Yamaha V Star Classic

I bought my Classic early spring of 2010, it was a 08 with no kms on it. I put a lot of kms on it over the spring and summer. So far the only problem I have is the headlight, had it tightened on my 1000 kms check but it seems to be getting noisy again.

I've been riding since 1972 - everything from 100 cc up to my '87 Goldwing. But when my Goldwing "gave out" I began looking for something smaller and lighter to take on trips. This bike serves admirably. I added a windshield, bags, a tiny luggage rack, and highway bars. Lite and quick. Good gas milage ... (although I'd prefer a larger gas tank). Lots of room to stand when stopped. It did take some time to get used to because it was such a change from my Goldwing, but I throughly enjoy it now.

This bike rides great, with little effort in turing or in city traffic. Have had to do little or no maintance other than normal.

This is my first bike and I can say that I did alot of shopping around before I purchased it. I love the power and comfort of my V star. It handles great and has performed well. Its got plenty of power even with a passenger. I did not like the studded bags that come with the silverado so I created ... my own without at an extra coast but the bike looks great.
