Excellent first bike
By (I am an Owner) on Jul 16, 2014I'm really not sure what the other reviewers are complaining about and why their scores don't agree with their comments. I am 5'11" tall and North of 240lbs. I was looking for a cruiser that was reasonable on gas for my 40 mile commute. After much research, I decided on this bike and I am extremely ... happy with my choice! It handles nicely, has plenty of power for all LEGAL speeds and I'm getting 50MPG. I really like the classic look with the whitewall tires and have since added hard bags and a trunk, in addition to highway bars. In just over 2 weeks of ownership, I have put 600 miles on it and have enjoyed every mile. Yeah, there is some vibration when chugging up a hill but, downshift and it goes away. Yeah, the seat could use some more padding but show me a bike with a perfect seat. If you're looking for a good looking, dependable cruiser, this is your bike!

Awesome bike for the money
By (I am an Owner) on May 09, 2014I got this bike new, love it, very impressed with the power I am 5'11 215lb and it hauls my but no problem, I have had many bikes this one rides nice, very comfortable , I have a 96 Harley sportster 1200, and this Suzuki is twice the bike for the money. It's a cruiser, you feel a little vibration ... because of the floor boards but they all do that, I will buy another one after I get all I can out of this one, love it and would highly recommend this bike to anyone looking for a cruiser

Very satisfied
By (I am an Owner) on May 04, 2014Purchased a new 2012 c50t classic april 2014. I am very pleased with everything about this motorcycle. Was a little apprehensive about 805cc but wanted a middleweight and shopped around a LOT comparing the different entries. If you are in the market for a middleweight cruiser you wont go wrong with ... this one. 6'4" 200lbs very comfortable seating position and I never had floorboards before (love em!). Not great at sustained interstate speeds but I hate interstate riding so that's ok by me. Plenty of low end and handles nicely around town. Love the classic cruiser look also!

Cheep, beautiful and not all that good
By (I am an Owner) on Apr 07, 2014It's a beautiful "cruiser" machine. Lots of chrome, white wall tires, beautiful paint and not very expensive. It's very heavy and heavy feeling, poor handling and too much vibration when cruising over 70 mph. A 6th gear would be very helpful. I get about 45mph crusing it at 65-70 mph. Oh yeah, the ... speedometer is off about 7 mph at 70mph, where the vibration starts to move up to a dull roar.
With a new factory price of $7,995 it was a good deal. The 2014 are selling for $1000 to 1500 more, and are the very same motorcycle with a bit different paint job. I don't recommend buying a 2014 either. The whitewalls and chrome are groovy cool though. The Kawasaki 900 is a better motorcycle, by far. I would rather have a used Kawi 900 than a new Suzuki Boulevard C50T classic.
