2011 Harley-Davidson Street Glide™

I bought my 2011 SG with the 96 inch motor new and now have 28,000 miles on it. This bike has been very reliable with absolutely now mechanical problems. Runs great with good power. I've not done any mechanical upgrades to the engine except exhaust and intake. Great bike to ride locally or cross ... country.

I have owned two 2011 Harley Davidson Street Glides now in 4 months. The first one sounded like there was a barrel of mashed assholes in the engine when it ran, developed a leak in the front of the engine also. I chalked it up to being a lemon so i made a deal with my dealer to trade this pos in ... on another one, same exact bike, just a different color. well, 180 miles later oil is leaking out of the inner primary like a sive. Its a great handleing bike and is very comfortable, but the quality just isnt there. I like to buy American whenever possible so i may be looking into the Victory Cross Country in the future. Harley has dropped the ball and lost me.

I purchased my 103 SG in October and did not get to ride it very much. Now that warmer weather is starting to arrive I have been on my SG a lot more. I now have over 2000 miles on my SG and I really do enjoy it. The torque is great between 2k and 3k no down shifting and pulls great coming out of ... the twisties. The seat is nice and comfortable for those long trips. Overall Harley has done a great job on the street glide and I am lovin every minute.

the new optional 103 motor package for harleys is a step above the 96.power band on the 103 is great,between 2&3 thousand rpm it pulls great without downshifting.off the line the new gear ratio pulls much better than my 2007.the driveability is also much better.love the new FLHX 103 STREET GLIDE.
