High miles
By (I am an Owner) on Oct 16, 2017With over 111000 miles on my Road Glide I must say it has been a great bike, and still is! Some minor problems but tranny or motor has never been in to. Original clutch and front rotors and just changed the rear rotor. Always ran synthetic oil, HD filter and Formula + in the primary.

Perfect American touring motorcycle !
By (I am an Owner) on Mar 20, 2013Not as overly done as the Electra Glides.
About a 100 pounds lighter, though it is more nimble and maneuverable then its larger cousin. Faster, better mileage and
and just a delight to drive. With all the optional factory and aftermarket accessories. Or you can opt to buy the CVO model ... for about $10-$12K more or so. Oh, did I mention that the FLHRU is just sleeker then its larger cousin. The stock exhaust is just fine or any number of after market systems are available for a more typically throaty HD sound.
I have the 2011 model and it has 12,500 miles on it so far. This bike has not had any problems thus far. I have used it for both short trips, stop and go 50% of the time and long touring trips the other 50%.
There is one slight draw back that I managed to overcome with a aftermarket fix, that was a throttle delay F/I slow response time. There was also a small transmission and engine oil leak problems that the dealership promptly repaired at 6K miles and promised that it would not happen again, so far so good.
Basically this is one of Harley Davidson's best yet achievements. I love my bike and the way it takes to the road. Just always remember Be Safe and Ride Safe.

My '11 Glide
By (I am an Owner) on Sep 19, 2012My '11 FLTRX Road Glide is the BOMB. Bought it new last October, winter was relatively harsh so no riding and this year I've had the privledge of riding 14,xxx trouble free miles. The 103" motor pulls effortlessly through the Rocky Mountains as well as through "them there hills" in South Dakota and ... the ABS brakes work well. Balance is ..... well, this is the best Harley,(compared to my '78 FLH, '99 Road King, '01 Road King, '03 Fat Boy and 07 Heritage), I've ever owned, keep up the great work HD, I will buy new again in a few years
