You Meet the Nicest People on an RC211V

They had the RC211V at the local bike show. I just about walked right past without realizing what it was (just another show bike, yawn). I was stunned at how well finished this bike was, no cobbyness, none of that 'it ain't supposed to be pretty' bauhaus look common to real race bikes. I mean it looked like something you would take your girlfriend for ride on, not the hottest racing bike on the planet.
OK OK so it was show bike, it had no 'extreme graphics or race paint, no numbers or sponsor decals. So why would Honda show a race bike that way, instead of wearing warpaint and battle scars? It pretty much looked like a bike Honda plans to sell to you and me. Here's hoping.
