Whenever somebody takes matters into their own hands and does something positive for fellow motorcycle enthusiasts, we'll do whatever we can to help them help others. To that end, John Ulrich (Editor of Roadracing World) posted a rather stern editorial yesterday, voicing his opinion about a number of issues he felt the AMA was neglecting. One of these points being the neglected safety of racers.
Get Motorcycle.com in your InboxThe AMA has been saying they would purchase a number of air fences for some time now, but nothing's come of it. Editor Ulrich got the ball rolling by writing a check to the AMA for $2900 US Dollars, the cost of one section of air fence, of which 30 are needed.
