Rising young golf professional Justin Rose was a visitor to the CastrolHonda team at the Kyalami circuit, South Africa during testing on Monday.

Rose, fresh from picking up well over $100,000 US Dollars for second place in a South African tourevent at East London on Sunday, became an instant fan of Superbikes...



"I can't believe what these guys do on these machines," said the19-year-old. "It was great to meet world champion Colin Edwards and TadyOkada and I¹m hoping to get to a race at some point this year to see them inaction."The South African-born player - who has lived in the UK since he was five -shot to fame in 1998 when, as an amateur, he took fourth place in theBritish Open. His career has since been a rollercoaster ride and he has onlyjust rejoined the professional tour, finishing second in his last twotournaments.

He now holds a provisional Ryder Cup place for the bi-annual USA versusEurope competition which takes place in September. After meeting the WorldSuperbike aces, Rose left for Australia to contest this week's HeinekenClassic event.

"Justin¹s a star in the making," commented Edwards. "It was great to meethim. I just wish I could play golf that good!"
