Motorcycle enthusiasts and racing fans alike have cause for celebration as Ducati North America today announced it will take over World Superbike (WSBK) weekend at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca in California with their premium Ducati Island festivities. For the seventh year, Ducati North America plans to elevate audience excitement with its trademark island experience, taking place from July 12-14 at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca in Monterey County, California. A special-edition Ducati will also be unveiled to kick-off the weekend track action.

To join the welcoming atmosphere that Ducati’s world-famous hospitality is known to create — before tickets sell out — simply reserve a three-day ticket package, offered for only $179 per person. The ticket package includes a 3-Day General Admission and Paddock Ticket, Open Grandstand Seats, Ducati Motorcycle Parking, a Ducati Parade Lap (limited to 250 riders) and Ducati Gift Voucher.

The event is traditionally one of Ducati’s biggest fan gatherings of the year, with WatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca being the only North American race for World Superbike, and the final event before the series’ summer hiatus. Interest is at an all-time high for Ducati racing, with Ducati rider Álvaro Bautista currently in the lead of WSBK standings and three-time U.S. Round winner Chaz Davies also in the top ten of standings, ready for heated competition. All five classes of MotoAmerica will race, as well, which includes team KWR’s Ducati Panigale V4R with pilot Kyle Wyman in the Superbike Class. Also, for the first year Quarterely Racing’s Michael Barnes riding a newly homologated Ducati Monster 797+ as a privateer in the Twins Cup class.

Whether motorcyclist, non-rider, or a spectator interested in family-friendly fun, all are encouraged to join the weekend extravaganza with live music, demo rides of the new Diavel 1260, and the Scrambler Land of Joy, offering test rides of the 2019 Scrambler Café Racer, Full Throttle, Desert Sled, Icon and Scrambler 1100 Sport.

Three-day ticket packages also include complimentary gear check, grand stand seating with amazing views at Turn 4, a fan track walk and a welcome gift.

Ducati Island will be open to all attendees of the World Superbike Championships to witness first-hand the new 2019 lineup. This includes the powerful new Diavel 1260, a stunning example of Italian craftsmanship that recently won the Red Dot: Best of the Best award for its unmistakable design, and the first new Diavel since its introduction in 2010, now with a 1262cc engine.

Tickets are now available for purchase here.
