Hi,
Get Motorcycle.com in your InboxI have a 96 nighthawk which I was forced to buy from a friend as a result of a dumb accident. I broke a piece of the gearshift drum outer sproket (piece before the bearing) and it doesn't shift anymore. Can I just replace the broken part and not the whole piece? It seems that it's a separete piece. The shop wants about $1,400.00 to fix it which is not good considering the value of the bike. Any ideas where to go to see how to do it myself? Any help extremely appreciated.
Thanks G.
