205MPH on a stock RC-51?

Ok, so this might be the most widely reported motorcycle story of the summer (we had over 50 individual reader submissions about it) and we're a couple days late to the party. However, after reading this, you can post your thoughts and get into multiple flame wars on our site, so it was probably worth the wait."Oh yeah!, MY bike will go 205MPH and I've got the ticket to prove it!"
One has to wonder what kind of modifications have been done to this RC-51? Turbo? Nitrous? Superbike Engine? Hurricane Ivan giving a healthy tailwind? Considering the fact that the typical Cessna (172 or 182) observation platform (let alone a police helicopter) won't come anywhere near 205MPH, it is more likely that there was a healthy dose of parallax error in the officer's observation of the two reference points (just a hunch). If I was this kid, I'd definitely be fighting the ticket. -Sean
