End of an era for motocross

Carlsbad Raceway is no longer. The dragstrip was used frequently on weekends, however the motocross track is the most important loss. Years ago, Carlsbad Raceway hosted the USGP. As a young wannabe motocrosser I watched Roger DeCoster, Bob "Hurricane" Hannah and Danny "Magoo" Chandler race here.
My little seaside paradise is now home to big city slickers. Sigh.
