One-off Honda CB1000R for 2018 Glemseck 101

Honda Racing UK has created a one-off custom CB1000R for the 2018 Glemseck 101 in Leonberg, Germany, with none other than five-time 500cc GP World Champion Mick Doohan tabbed to ride it in the event’s Sprint International drag race.
The Glemseck CB1000R comes with a number of upgrades and a special paint scheme in Honda Racing red, white and blue with golden highlights.

Upgrades include the Öhlins fork and rear shock from a CBR1000RR SP and Brembo brakes. Akrapovic provided the full exhaust system including the four gold colored pipes flowing from the engine.
The extended swingarm was custom made for the Glemseck CB1000R, extending the wheelbase for the Sprint Internationa 1/8th-mile drag race. The clutch is also bespoke, just for the Glemseck CB.

Other features include gold-colored chain, gold-colored wheels, flyscreen, tail cover and various other add-ons from Rizoma.

The 2018 Glemseck 101 runs Aug. 31 to Sept. 2, with the Sprint International races running over the weekend. Besides Doohan on the CB1000R, the competition will include notables such as Roland Sands on an Indian Scout FTR750 and Chris Pfeiffer on a Harley-Davidson Fat Boy. The event will be livestreamed on both Saturday and Sunday.

It looks like someone amputated its arse. Had to be said ...
Awesome bike. I love it! Ride it on the street in this form and throw the stock swingarm for the track.
