Honda released a video teasing a new sportbike which we expect to be the 2017 CBR1000RR recently spotted by spy photographer.

2017 Honda CBR1000RR Spy Shots!

The video doesn’t reveal much except to emphasize two phrases: “total control” and “sharper than ever.” From that, we can assume Honda engineers focused on refining the CBR1000RR’s handling.

This doesn’t rule out any changes to the engine. While the spy photos don’t show any visual changes, we can expect the CBR1000RR to receive ride-by-wire throttle, traction control and ABS as standard (at least for European versions), not to mention Euro 4 compliant emissions.

The teaser video is labeled “episode 1” so we can expect more installments to come before the bike is revealed in full on Oct. 4 at Intermot. Check back here on MO for further updates.
