We already wrote about Honda’s new CBR1000RR SP and SP2 when they were first announced a little while ago and now Tom Roderick offers his impressions after seeing Honda’s new special production CBR1000RR SP and SP2 in the flesh at AIMExpo.

With two special production models unveiled, the focus shifts to the standard model, which we now presume was the one spotted in spy photos. We expect to see the base model CBR1000RR next month at EICMA.

Apart from that rather protruding exhaust can,I rather like the look of it.No question about it being a goer,but looking forward to seeing it put to the test against the opposition.
but will they be releasing the v4 blade late next year? this isnt the bike they submitted last years patent. that one had a central intake.
this is the bike patent submitted back 2014.
