Honda Z50 Monkey Dead at 50

While the proles were lucky to have a Rupp or a home-made Briggs & Stratton scooter of any description, the coolest kids had a Honda Z50 scooter when I was growing up. The Z was pulled from the U.S. market many years ago, and now Nippon.com says the Z’s 50-year jig is up in the Japanese home market too, due to a shrinking market for small scooters and tougher emissions regulations.
