Sad but true, according to this report in the Space Coast Daily. It goes on to say that the state saw a 30 percent increase in motorcycle deaths, making 2015 the highest on record. Motorcycles account for three percent of registered vehicles in the Sunshine State, but accounted for 20 percent of motor vehicle fatalities in the state – 606 motorcyclists killed in 2015.
