Rev'it Neptune GTX: Ride Year 'Round With Just One Jacket
Rev’it believes it has developed in the Neptune GTX a true four-season jacket for riders who don’t care what the weather is like outside. The company claims, “if you literally ride every day, all year round, then this jacket is for you.” The $599.99 Neptune GTX has a durable, lightweight outer shell that doesn’t absorb water, and features a coating that repels dirt.
The jacket is equipped with CE-protection at the shoulders and elbows, adjustable ventilation panels and reflective panels. The detachable Goretex membrane with Paclite technology keeps you dry and has been designed to not stick to your skin when you have taken the detachable thermal liner out. Anyone who has ridden in warm weather and tried to take your jacket off while sweaty will appreciate this feature.
In addition to the jacket, a $449.99 Neptune GTX pant can be worn with it, featuring all of the same qualities. Like the Neptune jacket the Neptune trousers are made for year-round riding. On cold, rainy days the Goretex membrane will keep wind and water out, and the thermal liner will trap heat inside.
On hot summer days you can take out the membrane and thermal liner, open the ventilation panels and let air flow in freely. On warm, rainy days, take out only the thermal liner and the Goretex membrane will keep you dry and comfortable without sticking to your skin.
The pants feature CE-protection, adjustable protector pockets, a grip panel at the seat, dual connection zippers, and reflective panels.
