OHH YEEEAAAAHH!

I've had my red Raider S for a little over a month and have put just over 500 miles on it. I have ridden bikes for 25 years and have never enjoyed one so much. It attracts attention everwhere we go and riding it brings out the kid in me. It's not a Hyabusa, but who cares and I wouldn't want it to ...be. 2009 Raider S

I have had my 09 Raider since Christmas eve 08, and because of weather only put about 400 miles on her so far, but it is absolutely been one of my best riding experiences up to date! Since it's introduction in 2008, I have kept a very close eye on the Raider, but because of popularity never actually... got to sit on one, because they sold quiker than the dealers could get them in. The first time I sat on one I was sold! I am 6'5", and it almast feels as if the bike was custom made for me - everything is just in the right spot.
Don't be disheartened if you are not quite that tall, because I have spoken to a lot of Raider riders that are of smaller stature that shares the same impression.All the lines flows very smoothly, which makes the bike very appealing. I am amazed at how many compliments I get on this bike. The Raider is perfectly balanced, which makes it a pleasure to ride as it does not feel any heavier than a much smaller bike. She is sturdy in corners,glides on the highway, and with ample power on demand, it will definitely not disappoint. I added the OEM expandable bags for storage as well, which provides ample storage for shorter trips. Hopefully I will not have to replace this bike any time soon, but if I do, it will most definitely be with another Raider! Read Full Review

Just Plain Awesome

I have almost 2000 miles my Raider S and she is one sweet ride. I put over 40,000 on a 2005 Midnight Star and traded for this cycle. I could not believe the difference in all catagories: handling, power, comfort, style, and did I mention POWER.... I had the Midnight Star tricked up with a Dyno 30...00, and a B.A.K. and V&H Longshots so it was no slouch. The only issue I have with my Raider is the same one I had for my Midnight Star. They both have the power for a 6th gear but it can't be added. I will just have to live with 5 till someone figgers out how to add that 6th one. Ride her like ya stole her...... Read Full Review

Oh Yea!

I love my Raider. If you want the best looking, best riding and handling bike that you can get....then the 09 Raider S is the bike for you!!. I have had mine for a month now. All I can say is that I am very very happy with my bike. The ride and power is nothing but great!! Read Full Review

Test Ride...

I Just test rode a Yamaha Raider S..2009 Today..I was in back of a Suzuki rice rocket..He hit the trottle @ the light ..I Did too!..I was right on his ass even though he tried to leave me in his Exhaust..I bought one!!!..Take a test drive..The Bike sells itself! Read Full Review
