I can do 100 mph on 1st gear with my girl on the back.. the bike has easily been topped out at 186 multiple times and yes it's untouchable by the local and state authorities! it's a sick bike.. and yea the ladies love ...

  • The Amazing Gsxr 1000
By  (I am an Owner) on Dec 24, 2008

I am 23 years old and have been amazed by motorcycles since a young age. Always growing up Suzuki was the bike for me. My very first Sport bike was the 05 Suzuki Gsxr 750, looking at all of the models this year I went with the 750 because it wasn't too small yet it wasn't too big. Now I have ridin ...

  • Own a Legend

This bike will do anything you have the courage to try. Usually it's you letting up long before you reach the limitations of the bike itself. Never a need for worrying about the proper gear for passing, just grab the throttle and you are there. Smooth running in top gear from 40mph on up to redline. ...

  • "First flawless sportbike"
By  (I am an Owner) on Sep 26, 2008

That is what I have read in several magazines reviewing this bike, even as late as 2008 issues. It truly blows my mind as far as power, power delivery, handling, stability, braking. None better!

  • Great bike with little modification
By  (I am an Owner) on Sep 22, 2008

When the 2005/6 GSXR first came out I was really considering the Honda RR first, as I do not get out to the track as much as I used to and I was looking for something a little more "Comfortable" However; after having ridden the GSXR I was extremely surprised at how well this bike handles all types ...

There are a few things that could be better though. My first modification was to the front brake. Stock the front brake is not good enough for the track or spirited canyon road riding. Some nice pads and SS brake lines is enough for me, but I would suggest a more powerfull master cylinder for track usage. Also the rear shock might be a little lack luster if you really know what you are doing. Adjustabillity is there but not a huge range. I would also upgrade the rear tire to a 190/55 instead of a 190/50 which I believe is stock.

This is the best sport bike to date that I have ever owned. The quick and precise turning ability, braking is amazing. The power band in all gears is unmatched by any bike in its years class. Two years later and topping 25,000 miles I have had no problems what so ever. I will be riding this bike ...
