650R as my first bike.

I am SO glad I picked this bike over the others. It is a little heavier than 600s like the ZX-6R, but a lot more forgiving and comfortable. Even on the highway, I can ride both in the tuck or upright position comfortably. The twin engine provides enough power to easily pass cars on the highway. It l...ooks beautiful. What more can I say? Fun Bike

I had the chance to take a ride a 650R for a day, and it was a blast. I have ridden streetbikes over 20 years and always jump at the chance to ride something different. I felt confident on the bike after about 5 miles. Then I thought about the intentions of the engineers designing the bike. An entry... level bike that is fun, and they accomplished their task. I've been mostly into cruisers, but after riding this bike the next day I traded my cruiser in for a liter-sportbike. I liked the bike and would be proud to own one, but I ride over 10,000 miles a year and like the pull of more cc's. In short this is a great training bike that the owner won't get bored with after the first year. Read Full Review

I love this bike

This bike is incredibly fun to ride. I am planning to attend an AMA event in Colorado in August and will ride there from Los Angeles. The seat on the 650R is a little uncomfortable after riding for a couple hours. If any one has suggestions on seat upgrades I'd like to hear it. Read Full Review
