  • GOOD FOR MY BUCK!
By  (I am an Owner) on Apr 02, 2010

    great for beginners.

this was my first time on a bike.

i was scared to ride at first. i had difficulties making my left and right turns. afer a month the cops could not catch me.

    :0)

great deal, bought my bike for $3,500 used from a friend. it had a little over 5,000 ...

bike is great for the freeway, and most of all i am able to dust most 1000cc.

by the way i am a female.

  • My 5th bike, and the best so far..
By  (I am an Owner) on Mar 16, 2009

This is an impresive motorcycle. Has great handling very good engine with a lot of caracter in midrange and a fantastic riding position. I live near mountains so the fuel inyection really help not having to worry about carburation.

Very reliable no problemas what so ever.

  • Best Value on the Sportbike market
By  (I am an Owner) on Dec 05, 2008

The bike has aggressive looking lines and a clean profile. Easy shifting and quick response. It is very forgiving for a first timer while having plenty of speed for the thrill. No problem on the freeway at 70. Considering the technology on board for such a low price it beats the pants off the class ...

  • 10,000 miles and still new
By  (I am an Owner) on Dec 04, 2008

I bought this bike in August of 2007 wrecked in September, Tracked it at summit point in May, and did several trips to WV, VA, and PA. In all over 10,200 miles worth of heavy abuse. I have followed the maintenance plan 100% except for the part of taking it to the local dealer. The only parts I have ...

This has been a great first bike. My only complaint is a slight lack of power in the mountains. Steep tight turns require the use of second gear, while the short straights require third which means a lot of shifting. Other than that it pulls hard all the way to 110 and can easily reach 130 (indicated) on a long enough straight.

  • Good Beginner Bike
By  (I am an Owner) on Nov 25, 2008

This was my first bike and it was great to learn, but I out grew it in about three months and upgraded to an inline four. It's still fast and I had a lot of fun with it and it handles great, but Im tired of getting burned by 600s in the straight aways.

By  (I am an Owner) on Oct 03, 2008

I have owned this bike for 6 months and have 2,000 miles. This bike can keep up with 1000cc superbikes to 120.. Then they start to pull away. I have smoked 600 katana's all the way to 140. I love this bike it sticks to the pavement like glue.

Best bang for the buck period....72hp 390lbs you ...

and it stops on a dime and handles like a smaller ducati.

  • Great Bike for a Great Price
By  (I am an Owner) on Sep 08, 2008

The Ninja 650R is a compact twin sport bike. It weighs 393 lbs dry, less than some 500 cc bikes, and is designed to have a low center of gravity, narrow waist, and be non-threatening and forgiving of beginners' mistakes. At the same time, it is powerful enough to keep a intermediate/advanced rider ...

A rigid perimeter chassis and perfectly balance Bridgestone sport touring tires make for a combination which is unbeatably fun, and forgiving of mistakes.
