I'm a college student and this bike works perfectly for me. Yes it might be only 250cc, but I'm paying $50 a year for insurance and get 70+ mpg. Just picked up a 2007 Ninja 250R last week the black with red flames. The bike is clean and gets plenty of complements and yes for a 250 this bike has amazing turnover.
