		I have over 20,000 miles on one of the first 900 Customs purchased in the SF Bay Area and I get happier with every mile.<br /><br />

I average 50 mpg commuting to work from Hayward to Oakland and get there in 25 minutes, ready to go to work. More hp translates to more weight and less mpg, with very little ga<span class="simple_review_box" >...</span><span class="expand_review_box" style="display:none;">ined.  <br />

Wouldn't mind seeing it have a 6th gear, but it has smoothed out as it has broken in, and it runs sweet at 65-70 actual, with 80 now adding hardly any more vibes. <br />

My wife and I took a 4 day trip to Santa Barbara, Highway 25 mostly down and Highway 1 back.  Handled those coastal ranges without having to shift down (fully loaded) but it really liked those coastal curves.  This bike corners better than my previous Vulcan 750, has more neutral steering and almost as much lean.<br />
<br />
Added a Corbin touring seat (its great, Kawasaki didn't offer the gel in '07 - after an hour or two, the stock one starts to bite), Kawasaki back rest/rack, detachable bags and a National Cycle Plexifairing 3, with lowers, and turned it into a very comfortable, twisty loving medium cruiser.   </span>

		Just purchased my first bike.  Kawasaki Vulcan 900cc Custom.  It has 1900 miles on it and looks in perfect condition!  I searched and test drove 12 bikes.  As soon as I sit on the Vulcan I fell i love with it!  It drives like a dream!!  I love my new bike!

20,000 and its still has the right size/weight/performance

I have over 20,000 miles on one of the first 900 Customs purchased in the SF Bay Area and I get happier with every mile.

I average 50 mpg commuting to work from Hayward to Oakland and get there in 25 minutes, ready to go to work. More hp translates to more weight and less mpg, with very little ga... Read Full Review
