The Big "Hairy" Beast...
By (I am an Owner) on Nov 05, 2011For a cruiser, this bike will raise the hair on the back of your neck just looking at it parked in your driveway! Once you fire it up and climb on-board, the feeling permeates throughout your body...it is a beast! Some say bigger is better and generally that's a widely over used cliche...however ... it definitely applies to the Kawasaki Vulcan Classic 2000 LT. This bike can be very intimidating to those who are the least bit nervous riding a 2053cc monster but actually once you take this smooth riding cruiser out for a spin, you'll quickly gain a comforting sense of peace touring the country-side. Yes, I said, country-side, this "big-boy" does not make a very good city commuter as the constant low speeds, braking and sharp turning will wear you out in short order. But, unleash this beast on the open road and you"ll feel right at home, as the monster V-twin kicks in and floats you over the pavement like a big Cadillac. This bike defines the word, "cruiser"...if that's your goal, it won't disappoint at all. It'll gobble up country miles like a hungry Great Dane that hasn't been fed in three days!
I don't want you to have the idea that this bike is perfect by any stretch but used in the correct way, it will give you many miles of open road pleasure with that peace of mind knowing this "Beast" comes with the typical Kawasaki reliability...just be forewarned that it is definitely NOT for the timid. Enjoy the great outdoors and keep your rubber on the road!

The Best of the Best Cruisers
By (I am an Owner) on Mar 24, 2009I have been ridding for 50 years, small, big, touring & cruiser. I purchased my VN 2000 LT almost 2 years ago and have loved every mile. Traveled the state and gone the open highway scene to several. The ride is comfortable, powerful and full of play, and most importantly trouble free. I couldn't ... have picked a better bike for the in town commutes to work and many open road experiences when time has permitted. This is the best bike I have ever ridden!
