Monster of the street

Purchased my monster a little over two years ago. First street bike that I have rider in many years. Was looking for an entry level bike and a friend recommended (among other bikes) the monster. I didn't know much about Ducati before then, but when I went to see it at the dealer I immediate feel in ...love with the bike.

I was hearing the term "naked" bike for the first time and was loving it. Don't get me wrong the bikes with the fairing there were nice (purchased 800 SS one year late, can see my review on that here), but something about the lack of fairings and bold trellis frame made me say, yeah, that's the bike.

I actually purchased the bike without a demo ride (I know probably wa crazy, but hey, I wasn't thinking). Anyway, after not being on a bike for years, the monster made me feel like a veteran...okay not a veteran, but like I almost knew how to ride. The handling was great, very forgiving, and grew with me as my skills improved.

I have thought about selling it since I seemed to ride my 800 SS more, but every time I jump on it, it reminds me why I want to keep it. Read Full Review
