Triumph is introducing a special edition version of the Thruxton café racer.

The 2010 Triumph Thruxton SE features “Crystal White” bodywork with a red stripe and matching fly screen.  The red striping also matches the powder-coated red frame which stands out against a blacked-out engine case.

Like the regular 2010 Thruxton, the special edition model is powered by a fuel-injected 865cc parallel Twin which Triumph claims produces 68bhp at 7,400 rpm and a peak torque of 51 ft-lbs. at 5,800 rpm.

The 2010 Triumph Thruxton SE is expected to arrive in North America in the spring.

The Thruxton SE is due in North American dealerships in the spring of 2010. Triumph has not announced its price except to say it will come at a small premium over the standard Thruxton
