Tech 3 Unveils Laguna Seca Livery

Spies and Edwards to wear Team Texas colors

Ben Spies and Colin Edwards will wear the design of the Texas state flag on their MotoGP bikes for the U.S. Grand Prix.

The Monster Yamaha Tech 3 team unveiled the special livery for its YZR-M1 racebikes for the Laguna Seca round.

Spies and Edwards will also wear racing suits featuring red, white and blue rather than the team’s usual yellow color.

“Both of our riders are really excited about being together on home soil,” says Hervé Poncharal, manager of the Monster Yamaha Tech 3 Team. “And we hope the US fans will join us in supporting Team Texas.”

Ben Spies and Colin Edwards will represent the Lone Star State at the USGP.
