Talk show host heading to Indianapolis Motor Speedway
By Motorcycle.Com Staff, Aug. 18, 2010
Late night talk show host Jay Leno has been named grand marshal of the Red Bull Indianapolis Grand Prix.

Leno will greet MotoGP teams and riders at the Aug. 29 race at Indianapolis Motor Speedway as well as present a trophy on the podium.

The Indianapolis Motor Speedway is one of the greatest spectator tracks in the world, says Leno. Thankfully my R1 will stay in the Big Dog Garage as I plan to watch and cheer on our three Americans right from the pits.

An avid collector of motorcycles and cars, Leno recently hosted an event with Yamahas MotoGP riders Jorge Lorenzo, Ben Spies and Colin Edwards ahead of the U.S. Grand Prix at Laguna Seca.
