In praise of older Triumphs

Vintage roadshow gives owners a chance to display, have bikes appraised

The Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum is giving owners of vintage Triumph motorcycles the opportunity to get their bikes appraised.

Triumph owners are invited to participate in the Vintage Triumph Roadshow. The event will be a held July 25 and 26 as during the 15th American Motorcyclist Associations Vintage Motorcycle Days at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio. Triumph has been selected as the 2008 VMD Marque of the Year.

Taking a page from the television series Antiques Roadshow, Triumph owners will be able to have their bikes appraised by Triumph expert Randy Baxter of Baxter Cycle. Baxter will provide an estimate on the value of each bike, as well as provide tips on how to authentically restored Triumph motorcycles.
