Fiat Yamaha Reveals Laguna Seca Livery

Design features faces of 500 fans

Fiat Yamaha has unveiled the special livery for the U.S. Grand Prix at Laguna Seca.

Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo will ride specially painted Yamaha M1s featuring the faces of 500 fans, and the number 500 painted in stars and stripes. The livery celebrates the launch of the Fiat 500 automobile in the U.S. market.

Fans submitted pictures of their faces on a special website to have them appear on the bikes fairings. According to Fiat Yamaha, all 500 spots were filled in less than 30 minutes after the website launched.

Jorge Lorenzo and Valentino Rossi will wear special livery to promote the US launch of the Fiat 500 later this year.

The two riders will also wear specially designed Dainese racing suits featuring the 500 faces on the front, back, arms and legs.
