Fast by Ferracci to Back Celtic Racing
The World Superbike and AMA Superbike winning tuner will support Celtic Racing rider P.J. Jacobsen who will ride the Ducati 848EVO in the 2011 season.
I have worked with Ducatis for more than half my life and I know them well and believe in them, says Eraldo Ferracci. The Ducati 848EVO is going to be a new machine, but our goal is to make the combination of P.J.s skill and the machine work. I think we can run with the leaders in AMA Pro Daytona SportBike. I have a lot of confidence.
Jacobsen finished 11th in the 2010 AMA Daytona Sportbike class for Celtic Racing riding a Suzuki GSX-R600. The 17-year-old from Montgomery, N.Y., had nine top-ten results including two fourth-place finishes. Jacobsen also won the New Jersey Motorsports Park round of the Harley-Davidson XR1200 series.
2010 was a good year for us and Im glad to be back with Celtic Racing once again, says Jacobsen. We made a lot of progress and the team worked really hard. Im excited about our program for 2011. The Ducati 848EVO is going to be a great bike and to have support from Fast By Ferracci is really positive.
Barry Gilsenan, team owner of Celtic Racing, is hoping the support of Eraldo Ferracci and the Fast by Ferracci team will push his team up to the next level.
Were delighted to have re-signed P.J. to ride the Ducati 848EVO with backing from Fast By Ferracci, says Barry Gilsenan, Celtic Racing team owner. We have the right rider, the new Ducati 848EVO, and Eraldo (Ferraccis) knowledge and passion for racing on our side. Its a good combination and were really excited about next year. Were looking to build on our past successes and take it even further to get to the top steps of the podium. The program will be a success on the track and while thats the most important thing, I think with the personalities we have involved with our program there will be plenty of fun as well.
