EICMA 2009: KTM 350SX-F introduced

KTM introduced a new 350cc motocross prototype at EICMA 2009 in Milan, Italy.

The KTM 350SX-F is the first 350cc Motocross competition bike, preparing the Austrian manufacturer for upcoming changes to displacement classification for MX1 competition.

The new 350SX-F will have fuel injection and, linkage suspension, the first factory KTM bike with linkage since 1996.

Motocross legend and KTM MX team manager Stefan Everts developed the 350SX-F and AMA Motocross racer Mike Alessi has been spotted testing the prototype.

The 350SX-F is the first in what KTM calls a "new motocross generation".

According to KTM, the 350SX-F will be “ready to race” in 2010 but has not decided on when to begin series production.
